(Zezo mentioned committing in another post.)
For discussion while risking my newbie and dumb status, as well; the matter of committing to a route surfaced here long ago. This because while looking at a route for study becomes another route whenever some controls are changed like, magnification or number of day looks.
My solution was to load another Zezo in another tab. I have as many as four to view. This was helpful along the Cambodia and Vietnam coast when the router had many opinions. The biggest pain was getting up for a nighttime course change (my scheduler is not working) and the point of turn was moved forward 20 minutes and would do it again if you let it.
Once chosen the tab becomes golden and planned on. At predicted wind forecast times for down range were looked at in another tab to see if the router considered them in the 24-48 hour range compared with the golden tab. It does at times but do not want to lose what I have till deciding for a change.
You can see this can present many options when you have time to study. Even better would be an numbered overlay but cannot figure that out at my "Pay Grade."
(Cvetan, is this too tall a mountain; black, red, blue and green routes...or just three?)
What do you folks do or can share?
