Is the Sailing Simulator routing program going to allow for the differences between the maps land masses?

The VORG map has a huge piece of land poking out into the sound for some reason whereas the Sailing Simulator map is the real deal. Those like me coming in from the SE could have to grow wheels to follow the Sailing Simulator routing ;)

Thanks for your post -- I had not realized the problem!

The solution I devised was to route towards 41°15' S, 071°13' W. I checked the results and I was happy with them.

Fresh breezes and good angles!

Weird. Thanks for noting it.

Hi,
Although the top boats have finished this leg already, would it still be worth while to "restrict" the area that is erratically marked as land in VVOR map, and thus avoiding zezo routing over land?

I think so. We might get there sometime in the future and VR should correct the problem asap.
