I play VR on two identical laptops.
On one the screen is black, all the controls are still visible and working. Any idea what is happening and how to fix it
Thank god for zezo, helping me to sail blind :-)

You have to look at the side of the drivers update.

To find the interface otherwise it is necessary to uncheck "Use hardware acceleration if available" in google chrome

On the "working" laptop, hardware acceleration is enabled. And works fine. Will look at the other one later

I replied on the forum Virtual Regatta telling you the procedure to follow 😉

Disabling the hardware accelaration worked. Boats are visible again.
It does make the game "slow"
Will try and look into the drivers issue

Hi Gegax,
I looked for into VR club house but wasn't able to find your post about the procedure.
Could it be possible to share the link or put the procedure here ?
On regattagame, a few players have experienced very slow performances since a few months. Only on Windows OS, mostely 10 but one with Seven.
The trick is to disable hardware acceleration in the browser.
Although we don't use at all the same softwares as VR, I'm still trying to understand what is going on.
Thanks

Hi 😉,
There are 2 methods to solve this problem but it depends on your hardware.
- Via chrome: // flags by forcing several flags, if your hardware allows it.
- By downgrade from Google Chrome.
If Cvetan allows it, we can do it here (it will be useful to all those who meet the problem) otherwise we will do it on the VR forum.
Can I Cvetan?

The damn thing started crashing with "Aw, Snap" on startup for me too.

Cleaning cache and cookies did not help, but strangely, starting a separate Chrome instance (on linux run google-chrome --user-data-dir=foo) works.
