I found this old (2012) SA thread while searching for "reverse isochrones" Should probably be read by everyone who has not used a real routing software (myself included), as it gives pretty good explanation how real-world routing is done, with a lot of examples how to read the charts.

Very interesting indeed. I like the idea to slow down the boat. Probably a good way to check the stability of a routing.

That's easy to do here if going full pack. Just disable/add options one by one and see what happens.
