Hello! I installed VR Dashboard in Chrome, carefully following the instruction given on how to use it, once on the VR Dashboard page, in the "Select the race" part, all races are greyed. On top of the window, I have a banner indicating that VR Dashboard "has started debugging the navigator", I don't know if it's related...

I tried to delete all the cookies from VR, relaunched, refresh, relog... Nothing worked.

Of course I can rely on the Zezo website and enter my position manually but it doesn't work at the moment, no calculation is made for the best route (maybe because the race hasn't started yet?). And on a daily basis, it's less comfortable.

Any idea what's going on?

Don't close the debugger warning banner, this will disconnect VRDashboard.

With VRDashboard running, navigate back to the VR main page and enter VR Offshore again. After a few seconds VRDashboard should display your boat name in the top left corner.

Also see the other thread(s) on this topic...

Hi Michael,

I use this thread to contact you directly about the dashboard.
I know I'm a bit off topic, sorry already.

Someone contacted me directly to warn that the "sailboat" icon in the dashboard wouldn't link to my Polars Chart anymore.

As I don't sail any VR race myself these days, I cannot verify if this is true or not.
Can you just confirm if the link to my Polars is not broken ?

Thanks
Toxcct

Hi Toxcct,

I just clicked the icon in VRDashboard 3.12.7 and it produces this link

http://toxcct.free.fr/polars/?race_id=440.1&tws=14&twa=46&foil=true&hull=true&reach=true&heavy=true&light=true&utm_source=VRDashboard

which worked fine.

I use your polars frequently (from VRDashboard) and I never had any problems.

Ok, thanks for your feedback.

I shouldn't worry then, but you know, sometimes, users face a odd situation we can't reproduce, and we start to think too much ^^

Thanks for your help, VR Dashboard now works fine now but the router still doesn't calculate anything.

I checked all threads with VR Dashboard in the title but couldn't find any about this specific issue. Sorry if I missed and it's been addressed previously.

Solution found in another thread (I copy it here):

"It shows the route to the finish point by default.
Please select reasonable destination from the right mouse context menu."

Thx Zezo

well back to manual old way mode :O

Yeah, it's probably best to know how to use the manual mode too, pretty much like the real sailors know how to use a sextant!

Hi, same issue here, running on macOS with Chrome. I followed steps listed in your threads, nothing fixes the issue. Race is greyed, not selectable

I managed to make it work 3 times, I still don't how I did it but once I find the process, I'll let you know.

I do have this problem with Mac/Chrome as well
you have to follow these steps
- Entere VR web site
- Run Virtual Regatta Offshore
- Immediately after that (while VR loading) click on VR dashboard (Z) extension
- Once in the game lobby launch Vandee Globe

it must work, you will have the dashboard with the race loaded in
hope it works

Excellent, it is okay now.

Hi, it's a big challenge to deal with such a quantity of sailors in this Vendée Globe race!
For me, what is not working is the 'fleet' page. It's totally empty.
Does this happen to you?

yes, you just need to wait some minutes, it will fill up eventually. I think this is because of so many boats racing
