I'm sorry, but i've got another question.

Changing the destination point to the 40s or to Cape Town, suggests me to sail around the island leaving it to starboard instead of to port.

Is this a bug?

Anyone with same behavior ?

Thank you in advance.

Fernando

You should leave the island to port.

The router does not have a very high-resolution chart, so you should always double-check with the game when sailing close to the shore.

Thank you....
I've set a manual destination at the very "end" of the island to solve this.

I've also moved the gate slightly to the W end of the island. Should save few boats from grounding.

Now with either destinations, my boat leaves Fernando to port as expected.
Thank you again.

Cool. I haven't checked the exact location of the mark. It helps to set the gates at the end of the islands, not in the middle like they come in the game (and I've done it before). Have to keep that in mind.

I've just turned Fernando Island.
Thank you a lot.

An odd behavior note, my copy went nuts when I rounded. I was sleeping right up to departure on the new heading, and until I launched through Paco it would plot from about six hours prior to the rounding. I think time was changing as if I was actually still in that location at the beginning even though I had done course changes on the far side of the mark a couple times already.

Quitting and restarting didn't help. I was about to go on a cookie killing expedition when I got the idea of launching through Paco.

Thought you'd want to know - maybe I'll learn something useful from an answer if it was either because of some quirk or an operator error.

Cheers,

(by the way, thanks for the nice clean plot. I woke up to a phone call literally as I was rounding. There would be no saving the situation if it hand't been right on. In fact I also rounded poor Jamie who was up on the rocks. Once the race leader, now enjoying BBQ at the mark.)
