Folks, It seems to me like we are getting carried away a bit by all those technicalities and rankings and whatnot.

For me, personally, half of the beauty of the game is getting closer to the life of the real skippers and crews. Following their route and sharing their doubts about weather conditions. No better way to experience the JV trophy with Coville, wait for starting possibilities and looking at the routing every day for 3 months. Then feeling the disappointment.

The other half is about learning about sailing. I've personally rounded the world virtually at least a dozen times, and have learned a lot in the process. I'm a competent skipper in real life, but I've learned more about sailing tactics and weather patterns in the game than in the sea.

Only then (for me, that is) comes the ranking. Yes, competing is in our genes. Yes, the game should be fair (but that should be given)

So I think that it's time to sit down, relax, open a beer or another drink of your choice and enjoy the life a bit.

So choose a game platform, choose a ranking system of your liking, but don't forget to have fun.

You are totally right Cvetan as bery often !

And because of Zezo, personnally i have a lot of fun, and even if i am not happy with (only some points) VRO3, i will continue, probably less but i will continue to get excitement, and ZEZO reinforce excitement.

BTW, are the prices removed this time around?. Can't seem to find any mentioning of the what number 1,2 and 3 are winning?. being able to brag about becoming 1st is teh only thing :/

And Zezo, I cant believe you beat me by 7 seconds after going so far north just before lissbon. Thought I had you there :)

That's the problem with limited expensive programming cards - you get distracted by inferior tasks like playing with your kids or working for your American bosses and forget to play the game.

zezo.org is a good help for most players...but the whole system of the VR, has been changed, to a much worse system... many step backwards. If they(VR) want to earn more money, they can just rise the prices, and keep the old system, that was much better than the new trash.

Zezo I agree it should be fun I intend to have fun, but like I said on a different game platform. Fun should be fun and not be payed for in the way VR wants us to do.
So I do wish everyone, in whatever sailgame the play all the best, good winds, lots of beer and a safe trip :-)
And I will keep on participating in your beautifull platform and all the wonderfull people here
