Hello. Thank you Zezo for making this really interesting and fun tool.

There is a discussion elsewhere at the moment about the accuracy of course steered (well... twa) and how, if you steer eg: 330 degrees, you could be steering as little as 229.5 and as much as 300.4 degrees.

Given that sometimes you will see a +1 knot change in speed by changing heading by 1 degree, this is significant; especially on long tacks and gibes.

This led me to wondering... if Zezo (awesome) suggests we sail 149 degrees, is that value similarly being rounded to the nearest whole number? Or is there a way for us to calculate a more accurate value to sail to?

The speed difference may be half knot, but VMG difference is very small.

The interactive track tool is your best friend - both in the router and in-game. The router does not always follow the optimum TWA, so if you see the dots beating the isochrones - go for it. Just don't rely on the game track to keep you off the rocks on a fixed TWA.
