The Dashboard determined that you traveled infinitely far since the last update but it can't quite believe it :-)

Seriously, this has to do with the VR server sending two position updates with the same timestamp (look at the 'Time' and 'Δt' columns). In this case the speed computation fails but I don't know why sometimes 'Infinity' is displayed and sometimes a dash '-'.

The 'calculated Speed' column isn't really useful and I should probably remove it. The same is true for the Sail/Gybe/Tack 'penalty' columns that helped us detect bugs in VRO 3 when it was new, but they don't do anything useful now.

Ty for your answer.
Everytimes, when I see a yellow number, I think it's a VR bug..

Same bug observed here today - saw three consecutive rows with a red penalty mark. Two of them where with same time stamp.

I don't know what triggers these extra position updates but they are probably related to the server load. I observe them quite frequently.

Usually there are two extra updates arriving exactly at the same time 3-4s after a normal 298-300s interval.

It seems that when extra updates are occuring, commands may be lost. It happened to me in the Mini Transat Leg 1. I used to think that VR has a backup server running that takes over when the primary server does not respond in time, but the backup doesn't see a command if it happens during the switch. Strangely (and stupidly) though, only my gybe was lost, but the penalty was not.
