Anyone know if executing a sail change and a gybe at the same time results in only a single speed penalty?

Optimizer is calling for a bear off and change to spinnaker just 20 mins before a gybe. Trying to figure out if it would help to combine the two maneuvers.

It results in the equivalent of 1.5 penalties instead of 2... You do 0.5 x 0.5 speed for the duration of the penalty time, which is 0.25 speed once... which is better than doing 0.5 speed penalties twice at independent times.

I guess that's fair, given the real boats are reporting it takes 20 minutes to execute a gybe and get fully up to speed when they are 2 handed. Makes my crew look downright proficient (we're not).
